We carry out heat soak testing of diverse types of glasses to mitigate the risk of breakage caused by nickel sulphide inclusions. Depending on your needs, we can carry out testing of all tempered glasses of a variety of thicknesses and intended for exterior applications.
Heat-strengthened glass is similar to tempered glass but takes on the shape of ordinary glass with higher performance and resistance to thermal stress. It gives twice the strength of a normal annealed glass. It is excellent for windows & doors, spandrel glass applications & interiors.
Our toughened glass is five times stronger than ordinary glass and gives excellent resistance to physical or thermal shock. If broken, the glass pieces are usually small and non-cutting, which averts injury. It is ideal for windows & doors (with frame & without a frame).
